Replace Your System?
This is the first question we help you answer. Our approach is always honest — if a repair is the right call economically and practically, we'll repair it. If the system is beyond cost-effective repair, we'll tell you so and provide replacement options.
Repair is usually the right choice when: the system is under 8–10 years old, the fault is a single component (element, valve, thermostat), and the repair cost is less than 40–50% of a new unit.
Replacement makes more sense when: the tank is corroded or leaking internally, the system is over 10–12 years old and showing multiple faults, or the unit is an older inefficient model where a new system would meaningfully cut your energy bills.
We carry a range of replacement units on our vans for the most common configurations, so in many cases we can complete a same-day replacement with no waiting on orders.
