Every Type of Blocked
Drain — We Clear It
Not all blocked drains are the same. The location of the blockage and what's causing it determines the equipment and technique needed. Our team handles them all.
Don't Ignore These
Blocked Drain Warning Signs
Catching a drain blockage early — before it becomes a full overflow or sewage backup — can save significant hassle and cost. Watch for these signs:
Slow-draining fixtures. If your sink, shower or bath is taking longer than usual to drain, a partial blockage is already forming. Left alone, it will worsen.
Gurgling sounds. Gurgling or bubbling noises from drains, toilets or pipes when water is draining elsewhere in the house indicates a partial blockage and trapped air in the line.
Unpleasant odours. A persistent sewage or rotten smell from drains — even when not in use — suggests organic build-up or a partial sewer blockage nearby.
Water backing up. Water appearing in a sink, shower or toilet when you flush or use another fixture is a clear sign of a significant blockage in a shared drain line.
Wet patches in the garden. Soft, wet ground above a drain line with no recent rain can indicate a blocked or leaking underground drain.
