Our Stormwater
Drainage Services
Stormwater management covers everything from clearing a blocked pit to designing and installing a complete new drainage system for a development. Here's what we handle:
The Risks of Poor
Stormwater Drainage
Adelaide receives its heaviest rainfall during winter, and properties with inadequate or blocked stormwater drainage face real consequences when those storms arrive.
Foundation damage. Water pooling against or under your home's slab or footings can cause subsidence, cracking and long-term structural issues that are expensive to remediate.
Flooding and water ingress. Blocked pits and overflowing drainage channels direct water toward the building rather than away from it — leading to flooded garages, subfloor areas and interior spaces.
Garden and soil erosion. Uncontrolled water runoff strips topsoil and damages landscaping. Over time it can also undermine retaining walls and garden beds.
Council compliance. In South Australia, stormwater must be managed on-site or directed to the stormwater network — not onto neighbouring properties or the footpath. Non-compliant systems can result in council notices and liability for damage to neighbouring properties.
Regular stormwater pit cleaning before winter — and a proper system assessment if your property floods — is far less costly than dealing with the aftermath.
